Recently, I was surprised and delighted to find that Cure for the Common Crazy has been nominated for a Liebster Blog Award.
Special Thanks to Andy at …said the blind man… for the nomination—check out his blog, it’s the right mix of comedy and heartbreak and gangsta rap that makes you want to keep reading.
So, following the instructions from his nomination:
1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who presented you with the award.
3. Copy and paste the award onto your blog.
4. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 bloggers with fewer than 200 followers.
5. Let them know they have been chosen by leaving them a comment.
Now, I don’t read many blogs—mostly those directed at singers that are full of shop talk, and I wanted to nominate real creativity. I’d re-nominate …said the blind man… if the rules permitted. Michael agreed with my suggestions for nominees.
And our nominees are:
Not Ready for Facebook. Though provoking and poignant blog by one of my favorite teachers from graduate school. He discusses those taboo topics of religion and politics in an intelligent and thought-provoking way, but also shares personal tragedy and stories of family.
Max Speaks Out. Hilarious vignettes of a child talking.
Artistic Director or Tales of Misery and Despair—This blog is just what it sounds like. If you work in the arts, be it as a performer, technician, or administrator, this blog is for you. And if you don’t work in the arts, but you deal with [expletive deleted]-heads on a regular basis, you’ll also enjoy it.
Thanks also to our regular readers..we’ll see you next week with more Crazy.
